Event 1
Participation: The event involved 53 citizens including 37 participants from the cities of Castrignano del Capo and Taurisano (ITALY),1 participant from the city of Granada (Spain), 1 participant from the city of Terceira (Portugal),.2 participants from the city of Bruxelles (Belgium) ,3 participants from the city of Athens (Greece), 3 participants from the city of Tirane (Albania), 4 participants from the city of Musninku (Lithuania), 2 participants from the city of Paris (France).
Location / Dates: The event took place in Castrignano del Capo (ITALY), from 26/04/2022 to 29/04/2022
Short description: The aim of the event was to build and consolidate the partnership, adequately informing the Institutions about the project management, tasks and roles, how to offer a proper visibility to I-PLAY and the Europe for Citizens programme, its main aim, activity schedule, and outputs. The partners also learnt more about how to organize the Local Initiatives for collecting feedbacks from the local communities.
Event 2
Participation: The event involved 90 citizens, including 7 participants from the cities of Castrignano del Capo and Taurisano (ITALY), 3 participants from the city of Terceira (Portugal), 2 participants from the city of Bruxelles (Belgium), 63 participants from the city of Athens (Greece), 4 participants from the city of Tirane (Albania), 4 participants from the city of Musninku (Lithuania), 2 participants from the city of Paris (France), 5 participants from the city of Baicoi (Romania).
Location / Dates: The event took place in Athens (Greece), from 23/01/2023 to 25/01/2023
Short description: The aim of the event was to learn more about the functioning of the most important EU Institutions, thanks to expert speakers/presentations/study visits. The participants exchanged practices and EU policies and programmes on Digital Solidarity. There was a roundtable Discussion on Smart Cities and Digital Solidarity, focusing on the right to Internet access, the use of online and digital tools in education at the Postgraduate Programme “Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, Sustainable Development”, Department of Economics, University of Piraeus.
Event 3
Participation: The event involved 87 citizens, including 8 participants from the cities of Castrignano del Capo and Taurisano (ITALY), 2 participants from the city of Terceira (Portugal), 3 participants from the city of Bruxelles (Belgium), 4 participants from the city of Athens (Greece), 3 participants from the city of Tirane (Albania), 61 participants from the city of Musninku (Lithuania), 2 participants from the city of Paris (France), 4 participants from
the city of Baicoi (Romania).
Location / Dates: The event took place in Musninku (Lithuania), from 23/02/2023 to 25/02/2023
Short description: The main aim of the event was to let the participants learn from each other’s experience on Distance Learning and Work. The opportunities offered by the EU policies and programmes were also shared thanks to the contribution of the experts of the Erasmus+ National Agency of Lithuania.
Event 4
Participation: The event involved 60 citizens including 8 participants from the cities of Castrignano del Capo and Taurisano (ITALY), 42 participants from the city of Terceira (Portugal), 4 participants from the city of Musninku (Lithuania), 3 participants from the city of Paris (France), 3 participants from Baicoi (Romania).
Location / Dates: The event took place in Angra (Portugal), from 20/03/2023 to 23/03/2023
Short description: The aim of the event was to exchange good practices about digital communication in EU, the importance of a correct communication especially on and through the social networks; the partnership also discussed about initiatives implemented at local, national or European levels for fighting against cyberbullying and disinformation.
Event 5
Participation: The event involved 103 citizens, including 12 participants from the cities of Castrignano del Capo and Taurisano (ITALY), 2 participants from the city of Terceira (Portugal), 72 participants from the city of Bruxelles (Belgium), 3 participants from the city of Athens (Greece), 4 participants from the city of Tirane (Albania), 4 participants from the city of Musninku (Lithuania), 2 participants from the city of Paris (France), 4 participants from the city of Baicoi (Romania).
Location / Dates: The event took place in Brussels (Belgium), from 26/04/2023 to 28/04/2023
Short description: The aim of the event was to exchange good practices on E-Citizenship, but also to learn more about EU policies and programmes on E-Participation, E-Democracy and E-Citizenship, through a study visit to the EU Quartier in Brussels, especially the Parlamentarium and the House of European History.
Event 6
Participation: The event involved 113 citizens, including 12 participants from the cities of Castrignano del Capo and Taurisano (ITALY), 2 participants from the city of Terceira (Portugal), 2 participants from the city of Bruxelles (Belgium), 4 participants from the city of Athens (Greece), 79 participants from the city of Tirane (Albania), 5 participants from the city of Musninku (Lithuania),3 participants from the city of Paris (France), 5 participants from
the city of Baicoi (Romania), 1 participant from the city of La Coruna (Spain)
Location / Dates: The event took place in Tirane (Albania), from 15/05/2023 to 17/05/2023
Short description: The main aim of the event was officially present the project’s results, to finalize together the Final Recommendations on the future of Internet Access in Europe, to evaluate the project and set together a follow-up strategy. The future collaboration in order to valorize the results of the IPLAY project was also an argument, which animated the discussion among the partners.
